There are three types of cancellation policies:
- Cancellation 24 hours before start time of the service
- Cancellation 24 hours within start time of the service
- Cancellation during the service.
- Cancellation for On Call/Immediate Availability service.
Cancellation by SitByer Companions 24 hours before start time of the service:
If a SitByCare Companion cancels a job 24 hours before the start time of the service then the Individual/Family is fully refunded 100% of the booking amount. Money will be returned to original form of payment.
Cancellation by Individual/Family 24 hours before start time of the service:
You’ll get a full refund if you cancel 24 hours before the booking begins.Payment is 100% refundable. Money refunded will go back to original form of payment.
Cancellation by Companions 24 hours within start time of the service:
If a SitByer Companion cancels 24 hours within the start time of the service then Individual/Family is fully refunded but such last minute cancellations create a lot of inconvenience. It may affect the Companion’s performance score & ratings in search.
Cancellation by Individual/Family 24 hours within start time of the service:
If an Individual/Family cancels a booking within 24 hours of the start time of the service then cancellation fees may apply depending on the reason of the cancellation. Companion will have to be compensated for the first hour of booking amount and the remaining amount of booking will be credited back to Individual/Family’s SitByCare credit account. This credit balance can be used towards their next booking. We will not be able to refund back to the original form of payment.
Cancellation/No Show by Companion during the service :
If a SitByer Companion cancels a booking during the service time or fails to show up then it will negatively impact their performance score & ratings in search. Companions may not be be able to apply or accept other job requests for the next 24 hours. Reason for cancellation may be taken into consideration before apply this policy. Individual/Family will be refunded 100% of their booking amount back into their original form of payment.
Cancellation by Individual/Family during the service :
If an Individual/Family cancels after the booking begins, then the Companion will be compensated with 50% of the booking amount as per our fair cancellation policy. Individual/Family will receive the remaining 50% booking amount into their SitByCare credit account to use towards their next booking.
Cancellation by SitByer Companion for On Call/Immediate Availability service :
If a SitByer Companion marks herself/himself On Call for the day and is unable to attend to a booking request or cancels a On Call booking then they will not be able to take up On Call jobs for the next 14 days (2 weeks) impacting their credibility, standing & ranking for On Call service. Individual/Family get 100% money back into original form of payment.
Cancellation by Individual/Family for On Call/Immediate Availability service :
If an Individual/Family cancels a On Call booking then it is non refundable. Reason for cancellation may be taken into consideration before applying this policy.
